Best Weapons in Fallout 4

Being set in a dystopian future caused by the advancement in nuclear warfare, you’re bound to come across a ton of cool and interesting weapons in Fallout 4. Of course, some of these weapons will be more effective than others, so here’s a list of the best ones to keep an eye out for.

The Problem Solver

When the biggest problem you encounter on your travels is a giant monster looking to bite your face off, a weapon called The Problem Solver will be a welcome sight. This rifle rewards accurate shooting as its damage will increase for each consecutive shot that finds its mark.

Unfortunately, this weapon is only available if you have the Nuka-World expansion for Fallout 4. You can obtain The Problem Solver by passing The Mason’s charisma check during the Ambitious Plan quest.

Spray N’ Pray

In a world where resources such as ammunition is scarce, toting a submachine gun may seem counterintuitive. However, the Spray N’ Pray isn’t just any old SMG.

This weapon uses explosive rounds, dealing more damage per bullet. You can purchase the Spray N’ Pray from Cricket the wandering merchant.

Kremvh’s Tooth

Since bullets are so rare in the nuclear wastelands, you’d do well to carry a reliable melee weapon. Kremvh’s Tooth is considered to be one of the best melee weapons in the game since it applies poison and bleed to enemies hit by it.

Though classified as a machete, Kremvh’s Tooth has a uniquely unsettling shape. You can find this blade in a small tunnel near an altar in Dunwich Borers.

The Final Judgment

A fusion core-powered gatling gun that fires lasers. What’s not to love about this weapon? You can obtain The Final Judgment by killing Arthur Maxson, leader of the Brotherhood of Steel.

You’ll get the chance to fight Maxson during several different quests in the game. Succeed in killing him off and you can loot his corpse for the powerful weapon.

Overseer’s Guardian

While its damage is decent, what makes this weapon an important asset is its efficiency. The weapon’s Two-shot effect will fire an additional projectile every time you pull the trigger without consuming any extra ammo.

You can purchase the Overseer’s Guardian from a vendor named Alexis Combes in Vault 81.

And that’s our list of the best weapons in Fallout 4. If you enjoy the open-world RPG, feel free to take a look at everything we know about Fallout 5.
