Is Foamstars free to play?

Unfortunately, Foamstars is not a free-to-play title. However, this will only apply from a month after its launch, as the game will be free for all PlayStation Plus subscribers throughout February to coincide with its launch.

While it's unfortunate to not see the game as a free-to-play option for players, you'll have a full month from its release to download it. This bodes well as, of course, you don't have to pay if you get it in time, but it will also encourage a healthy player base so you're not stuck in lobbies for too long.

For those who don't get around to grabbing the title before March 5, the silver lining is that Foamstars won't burn a hole in your wallet. The game is expected to set you back US29.99 or £24.99.
