The leaked Fortnite roadmap

We'll be breaking down the Fortnite leaked roadmap as we still have no official information about what the future holds for the battle royale. Let's begin.

The guide will be broken down into sections talking about all the different modes within Fortnite, including battle royale, Fortnite Festival, and Lego Fortnite.

Of course, things like cosmetics are shared within all modes, so if we mention a skin dropping in a specific one it could make an appearance in others as well.

Fortnite Battle Royale

After Chapter 5 Season 2 ends, fans can expect Season 3 to allegedly have a post-apocalyptic theme around it, with collaborations lined up including Fall Guys, Metallica, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Chapter 5 Season 3 is set to start around May and end in mid-August.

Later, for Chapter 5 Season 4, Epic Games could be preparing a new Marvel-themed season. Depending on who you ask, this is either a massive letdown or another exciting Marvel season, featuring Dr. Doom as the main villain and the introduction of the Fantastic Four as new skins.

Season 4 is due to start in late August and end in October. This means that the yearly Fortnitemares Halloween event will happen during this season.

Finally, Fortnite OG will return, this time throwing players back to Chapter 2 and its first three seasons. It has a similar timeframe to the first Fortnite OG mini-season, which saw the return of the first and most iconic battle royale map between November 3 and December 2 back in 2023.

Fortnite OG Chapter 2 will also start at some point in November, ending in December with a big live event that will lead into Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 in December.

Fortnite Festival

The rhythm game developed by Harmonix has a ton of cross-promotion with its battle royale counterpart, with skins available via the Festival Pass that can be used in other modes.

For the rest of 2024, there are four artists planned to get their own Fortnite Festival season - Billie Eilish, Metallica (who will also have an event of some kind in battle royale), Karol G, and Snoop Dogg.

Billie Eilish should be dropping in Fortnite before April ends, so if that ends up happening it will add a lot of validity to the leaks. We'll be sure to update this section.

Lego Fortnite

The ever-popular Lego Fortnite will have a ton of content added according to the roadmap. The most exciting is a Star Wars crossover planned to hit in May.

There is a Star Wars crossover happening with the battle royale mode just in time to celebrate May 4, so it seems plausible Lego Fortnite will join in on the fun considering how popular the Lego Star Wars franchise is.

The Lego Fortnite island will receive two major updates, one in July featuring dinosaur-like animals and another in October with a Halloween theme.
