September 6, 2022 -

As of right now, we don't have any news to bring you when it comes to an event during Fortnite chapter 3 season 4. The new season itself has yet to be revealed by Epic Games, so we could be in for a wait.

When is the Fortnite chapter 3 season 4 event?

At the time of writing, there is no confirmed start date for the Fortnite chapter 3 season 4 event. Since Epic is still yet to say whether it will happen or not, the jury is still out.

However, if an event does emerge it won't occur until the end of the season. If we look back at the cataclysmic Collision event that occurred to close chapter 3 season 2, it took place at the end of the corresponding Battle Pass.

Therefore, it could still be a good few months until an event emerges. They don't tend to take place mid-season unless there are drastic changes to the map, so it's likely going to be a good while away.

What will the Fortnite chapter 3 season 4 event consist of?

Fortnite end-of-season events tend to be huge interactive set pieces that take place outside of the regular battle royale format. They progress the overarching story in a big way, usually bringing huge changes to the island with new areas and POIs to explore.

Last time around, the Collision event let you and three friends squad up to control a massive mech teddy bear. In a battle against IO Forces, you controlled its turrets to take down robots and clear out enemy nests, before falling into a portal that teased the Star Wars theme of the new season.

Therefore, the chapter 3 season 4 event will likely ramp the stakes up even more. Expect another big on-rails set piece to experience firsthand, and teases for future content additions and collabs.

Can I replay the Fortnite chapter 3 season 4 event?

Unfortunately, the chances are you won't be able to replay the Fortnite chapter 3 season 4 event. The Collision event was a one-time only thing, and if you weren't in a lobby by the time it started you would have missed it entirely.

It seems that Epic Games wants these huge events to be fairly exclusive, and doesn't want to water them down by letting you experience it again on demand. Therefore, if there is one during the upcoming season, you'll want to be ready to dive in during the limited time period.

That's it for our look at the Fortnite chapter 3 season 4 event! As soon as we learn more about this prospective set piece, we'll update this guide. Until then, feel free to read up on our general chapter 3 season 4 hub to learn all about the upcoming season!
