Gangs of Sherwood promises exciting battles in a grim reimagining of Robin Hood's many tales. Many players will hesitate to rope their friends into buying yet another four-player co-op game, so in this guide we'll answer an important question - is Gangs of Sherwood on Game Pass?
For those unfamiliar, Gangs of Sherwood puts players in control of Robin Hood and his Merry Men. From what we've seen in trailers, the game is mission-based with each character using unique abilities to get around levels in their own ways. It's a game that would likely suit Game Pass well, as the service lets its subscribers try a huge number of games for a comparatively small fee.

Will Gangs of Sherwood be on Game Pass?
No, Gangs of Sherwood will not appear on Game Pass at launch.
The game launches on November 30 for PC via Steam and Epic, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X / S. It's possible that Gangs of Sherwood will appear on Game Pass at some point in future, but the game won't be joining Like a Dragon Gaiden, Starfield, or the many other games that joined Xbox Game Pass on their launch days.
Despite the game staying clear of the Game Pass library, the game's Xbox store page makes it clear that Xbox gamers will still need to subscribe to Game Pass Core or Ultimate to enjoy the game with friends. The Sheriff of Nottingham likely approves of this scheme.
