Let's see which Genshin Impact Dori materials we'll need ready for her Genshin Impact 3.0 release. The new and bountiful region of Sumeru is nearly here, and with it will come vital materials for the new characters. Getting the available materials ahead of time (and using your resin to get EXP books) can ensure she’s ready to max out on day one.
Dori makes her entrance in the second half of the Version 3.0 update and will be available on Ganyu and Sangonomiya Kokomi's rerun banners as a 4-Star with boosted drop rates. She is a claymore and Electro user, and will definitely pack a punch as a DPS or support character on the field.
While we wait for the next update, check out our Genshin Impacrt tier list, and the Genshin Impact codes page that’ll help get you the freebies that you’ll need to get those top-tier characters ready. Here's what's coming up in Sumeru, too, and what we might see in the Genshin Impact 3.1 release a little more than a month on from this.
What materials do I need to level up Dori?
We all know how to level up our new Genshin Impact characters by now, but just in case, here's a fresh reminder. Traversing the world gives tiny amounts of XP, so materials like Hero's Wit are essential. As well as that, you'll need a large amount of Mora to afford to ascend Dori.
Ascension materials
As well as the non-specific XP materials and Mora, Dori will have some specific requirements to get to level 80 and above.
Ascension level | Materials |
---|---|
20 | 1 Vajrada Amethyst Sliver, 3 Kalpalata, 3 Faded Red Satin |
40 | 3 Vajrada Amethyst Fragment, 10 Kalpalata, 15 Faded Red Satin, 2 Thunderclap Fruitcore |
50 | 6 Vajrada Amethyst Fragment, 20 Kalpalata, 12 Trimmed Red Silk, 4 Thunderclap Fruitcore |
60 | 3 Vajrada Amethyst Chunk, 30 Kalpalata, 18 Trimmed Red Silk, 8 Thunderclap Fruitcore |
70 | 6 Vajrada Amethyst Chunk, 45 Kalpalata, 12 Rich Red Brocade, 12 Thunderclap Fruitcore |
80 | 6 Vajrada Amethyst Gemstone, 60 Kalpalata, 24 Rich Red Brocade, 20 Thunderclap Fruitcore |
In terms of totals, this is how many of each item we're looking at:
- Vajrada Amethyst Sliver - 1
- Vajrada Amethyst Fragment - 9
- Vajrada Amethyst Chunk - 9
- Vajrada Amethyst Gemstone - 6
- Thunderclap Fruitcore - 46
- Kalpalata - 186
- Faded Red Satin - 18
- Trimmed Red Silk - 30
- Rich Red Brocade - 36
- 2,092,400 Mora
As with Collei and Tighnari, some of these materials that Dori requires are specific to the new Sumeru region, so we unfortunately can't completely prepare.
What are Dori's Talent materials?
Material | Amount Needed |
---|---|
Teachings of Ingenuity, Guide to Ingenuity, Philosophies of Ingenuity | 9, 63, 114 |
Bloodjade Branch | 18 |
Faded Red Satin, Trimmed Red Silk, Rich Red Brocade | 18, 66, 93 |
Mora | 4,957,500 |
Every Genshin character has their own set of talents that will upgrade their attacks and abilities. These talents can be levelled up. It is highly recommended to do this as it can add some serious strength to healing and attack moves.
You'll need three Crowns of Insight to level the talents to 10, and there are some currently unnamed Sumeru Talent tablets that are specific to the new area. We will update them here when we know more about what they might be called.
Material farming locations
Here's where to find the more specific items required to upgrade Dori:
Vajrada Amethyst
You’ll find these from the Electro Hypostases, Raiden Shogun, and Thunder Manifestation boss battles. The higher the world level, the higher the level of item you’ll get for your character.
Slivers can be purchased from Mondstadt Souvenir Shop and Mingxin Jewelry shop. These don’t refresh, though, so if you’ve already used them before, you’re out of luck.
Kalpalata
Found in the Sumeru landscape, Lotus kalpalata can be bought at the store Aramani. Each flower costs 1000 mora. In total, the seller has 5 plants, stocks are replenished daily.
Thunderclap Fruitcore
Currently unnamed item similar to Hoarfrost Cores and Everflame Seeds
Bloodjade Branch
This is an Azhdaha weekly boss drop.
Faded Red Satin, Trimmed Red Silk, and Rich Red Brocade
These are three new items coming with the Sumeru region and are all dropped by different levels of The Eremite enemies that we will encounter. The items will also allegedly be sold via the Stardust Exchange.
Crowns Of Insight
Crowns are used to upgrade Combat Talents from level 9 to level 10. You can get some from upgrading the Frostbearing Tree, Sacred Sakura, and Lumenstone Adjuvant, but they are often included in event rewards, too.
