Want to main Kirara in Genshin Impact? Dendro has completely shaken up the Genshin Impact meta, and Kirara is Inazuma’s first character to wield the exciting element. She has debuted in Genshin Impact during patch 3.7 and made an appearance in Yoimiya’s second story quest as well.
The release of Kirara will open even more doors to budget Dendro reaction teams, and if you enjoy playing around with Bloom or Hyperbloom reactions, you should consider getting at least one copy of her.
Genshin Impact Kirara artifact set
For a shield build our recommended artifact set combo is a 2-piece Vourukasha’s Glow (+20% HP) and 2-pc Tenacity of the Millelith (+20% HP). This will maximise your Kirara’s shield and allow you to tank the most amount of damage.
But if you want to maximise Kirara’s damage in reaction teams, our recommended artifact sets are:
- Gilded Dreams
- Deepwood Memories
- Flower of Paradise Lost
All three artifact sets are incredibly potent for Dendro-based reaction teams and work great if you want to maximise Kirara’s damage. Flower of Paradise Lost is specialized for Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon while Gilded Dreams focuses on boosting Elemental Mastery as much as possible.
Our pick from the three DPS sets would be the Gilded Dreams set if no one else in your party is equipped with the set, as it boosts Dendro damage for the entire party no matter who is triggering the reactions.
Genshin Impact Kirara weapons
Here are the best weapons for Kirara.
- Key of Khaj-Nisut (Shield build only)
- Freedom Sworn
- Toukabou Shigure
- Xiphos’ Moonlight
- Dark Iron Sword
- Iron Sting
The Key of Khaj-Nisut is great if you want to maximise Kirara’s shielding capabilities, but any of the other listed options are competitive with each other. All of them have Elemental Mastery substats, which is what you want for a DPS build in Kirara’s Dendro teams.
Iron Sting is your safest bet as it is a craft-able weapon. The Toukabou Shigure is also a solid choice if you were around when it was available for free.
Genshin Impact Kirara teams
Here are our recommended teams for Kirara:
Hyperbloom/Quickbloom
- Kirara
- Electro: Raiden/Fischl/Yae/Kuki Shinobu/Lisa
- Flex: Kazuha/Sucrose
- Hydro: Xingqiu/Yelan/Kokomi/Ayato
Kirara’s Hyperbloom/Quickbloom teams rely on maintaining elemental application and creating as many reactions as possible while switching between characters. Her Dendro application is good enough to ensure you get consistent Hyperbloom and Bloom reactions for massive damage.
Quicken
- Kirara
- Electro: Keqing/Cyno
- Off-field Electro: Yae/Fischl/Beidou/Kuki Shinobu/Lisa
- Anemo: Sucrose/Jean/Sayu/Kazuha
In Quicken teams, Kirara is used as an off-field character while you keep Keqing or Cyno as your on-field DPS. The team relies on consistent Electro and Dendro reactions for massive Quicken damage.
You can also experiment with Kirara in Nilou Bloom and Burgeon teams, but we strongly recommend Quicken or Hyperbloom instead if you want to make the most out of her kit. You can also use her for her shield and defensive utility instead of dealing damage, in which case she can fit in a bigger variety of teams.
