Everything we know about God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla

Valhalla will serve as an epilogue to the events of God of War Ragnarok. There’s a lot of emphasis on combat as the DLC shifts into the roguelite genre.

While going through Valhalla, Kratos will have access to all of his weapons and full-upgraded skill trees but none of his other equipment. You will have customisable armour in this mode, but only for aesthetics.

With each attempt at Valhalla, you must choose a shield and a path of Spartan Rage. No two instances of Valhalla will ever be identical, so you’ll have to adapt and improvise with each playthrough.

Being defeated in Valhalla doesn’t mean the end of your journey. Should you fall, you will reawaken outside the doors a little stronger, a little wiser, and ready for another attempt.

Valhalla will have five difficulty settings that you can switch through between attempts. Playing on a higher difficulty will yield more rewards.

God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla cost

Santa Monica Studio wanted to gift players with this bit of content as their way of spreading holiday cheer, as well as a way of saying thanks to the players supporting their game.
