How to obtain the Blade of Olympus in God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla
The Blade of Olympus is obtained in God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla while playing through the Homecoming objective in the lower Realms of Valhalla. More specifically, you get the weapon when you pick up Helios and place him in a cage.
This happens fairly early on in the DLC since Homecoming is the mode’s second objective. You will be ejected from Valhalla shortly after obtaining the Blade of Olympus.
To keep using the iconic weapon, you’ll need to re-equip it before charging back into the halls of Valhalla.
How to equip the Blade of Olympus in God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla
If you want to wield the Blade of Olympus, open up your Spartan Rage selector and choose the Legacy special ability. Once that’s done, you can equip the Blade of Olympus by pressing L3 and R3 after building up enough rage.
While equipped, the blade will grant you increased damage, health restoration upon defeating enemies, and rage generation after parries. To put the weapon away, simply press L3 and R3 again.
The Legacy Spartan Rage ability will become available in the base game of God of War Ragnarok after unlocking it in Valhalla.
