Granblue Fantasy Relink is a deceivingly massive game. While the story itself is quite short and can be beaten quickly, the postgame content is where the real meat of the content is. Granblue Fantasy Relink's postgame has tons of brand new content, and the developers can keep updating this to keep expanding the game similar to titles like Monster Hunter. The developers even revealed a Granblue Fantasy Relink DLC roadmap.
Cygames has explicitly stated that Granblue Fantasy Relink will not become a live service game, and it's intended to be a complete RPG package in itself. However, they have also laid out a roadmap and promised to keep supporting the game with updates frequently. Here's what we know about the Granblue Fantasy Relink update roadmap.
While you're here, be sure to learn how long the game takes to beat and our full review of the title.

You can check the roadmap yourself at the official page.
Version 1.1.0 (Early March 2024)
The first major update comes in early March and brings the Lucilius boss fight. Those familiar with Granblue Fantasy will recognise Lucilius as one of the most powerful Astrals in the Universe. He holds an intense hatred for the Gods and is responsible for creating the Primeval Gods.
The developers have promised that his boss fight will be one of the most difficult ones to conquer, and you need maxed-out endgame gear to even stand a chance against this Level 200 monstrosity.
There has also been mention of paid content for March, but the specifics have not been revealed yet.
Version 1.2.0 (April 2024)
Next up for April, we have two new characters releasing together. Seofon and Tweyen are members of the Legendary Skyfarer group, referred to as the Eternals. The Eternals are known for their mastery of their respective weapons and their power is acknowledged by everyone in the world.
- Seafon is the leader of the Eternals and wields a Sabre as his speciality weapon. His element is Wind, and he serves as a primary DPS character.
- Tweyen is also a member of the Eternals and wields mastery over the Bow. Her element is Light, and her playstyle involves bombarding the enemy with debuffs.
Both of these characters will be available for free through in-game challenges, but they can also be purchased according to Cygames. The nature of this purchase has not been specified, as it could be referring to either Crewmate Cards or a monetary purchase.
Similar to March, paid content has been mentioned for April, but we do not know the specifics yet.
Version Unknown (April 2024)
We currently don't know any details for the updated content in April. However, it could be possible that the team at Cygames will keep an update pace that lets us know about 2 months' worth of content in advance. Hopefully, we get to see a steady stream of updates for Granblue Fantasy Relink for a long time!
