How to Defend Marfark in Helldivers 2

Helldivers 2 has various major orders, and concluding one of them also means grasping the gist of how to defend Marfark in Helldivers 2.

Helldivers 2 won't let us have any downtime with a flood of orders to fulfil, be they major or personal. Major Orders are collectable objectives and challenges that unite all players on the same page. Completing a Major Order is not mandatory, though the tempting reward may drive you to do so.

They are time-sensitive so once the allotted period for fulfilling the Major Order lapses, the chance to pitch in on that goal is gone. This guide will give you the edge you need to complete the most recent Major Order.

How to Defend Marfark in Helldivers 2

The Major Orders are about as unpredictable as they can be. The High Council instructed each soldier to liberate planets like Marfark, which automatons from outer space had invaded.

Failure to do so could grant the Automatons the chance to consolidate their position in the Andromeda sector and further escalate chaos from there. Stand your ground at Marfark and do whatever it takes to take down any automatons that come your way to defend Marfark.

Marfark is the elbow of the Andromeda Sector, meaning the environmental conditions are either extremely cold or subject to blizzards. That can also slow down the mechanisms of firearms and decrease the rate at which they fire, so you can't shoot as briskly as you would under normal conditions.

No matter how stacked the odds are, you can make them work in your favor. Automatons may not be well-equipped to handle environmental conditions in Marfark as well.

If they experience malfunctions or slowdowns in their systems, that's when you have to exploit their vulnerable points. Adjust your weapon loadout and tactics to capitalize on the environmental effects.

For example, use weapons that are less affected by the cold or have features specifically designed for extreme conditions, like the LAS-16 Sickle. It is a laser-based weapon that produces bursts of laser energy one after another after a short period of charging.

This also has a heat sink mechanism to maintain a higher rate of damage output because it takes longer to overheat. Teamed up with either Autocannons or Railguns for additional firepower. Even after reaching the maximum alignment with Marfark, you will have to hang tight until the high council gives direction on your next move.

Once the task is confirmed to be finished, each player will receive 35 Warbond Bonds. As soon as you get them, these items will show up in your stash in no time.
