One aspect of RPGs that many people look for is romance opportunities. Being able to sweep an NPC character off their feet is the fancy of many. If you're one of those people, then you may be wondering does Hogwarts Legacy have romance options?

Hogwarts Legacy is a brand new RPG set in the Harry Potter universe. Given that there's spells and potions in the game, can any of that be used to kindle a loving spark between characters? Well read on and we'll tell you.

Does Hogwarts Legacy have romance options?

One of the things that the developers have touted about the game is that it will have a deep relationship building throughout the story.

You'll be interacting with students and professors from all manner of classes and houses. The developers have not stated whether or not there will be any romance that stems from those relationships, but it's easy to imagine why people might imagine some school romance breaking out

You'll primarily forge relationships with four key companions throughout the game's story, each having their own storylines to progress. Avalanche has said that these will be optional quest lines, but will have very difficult dilemmas to face. Here's a list of the four companions that you'll encounter.

  • Poppy Sweeting – Hufflepuff
  • Sebastian Swallow – Slytherin
  • Amit Thakkar – Ravenclaw
  • Natsai Onai – Gryffindor

Is it okay for Hogwarts Legacy to have romance?

There's another question to ask here, about whether it's okay for Hogwarts Legacy to have romance in the first place.

This has been a topic of discussion amongst many fan circles, and some have come to the conclusion that it'd generally be okay, due in part to the numerous romances found in the latter years of the source material. The students are supposedly older, fifth-year students (or around 16 years old), which wouldn't put

That being said, we don't know whether or not this will even much of a factor if the game doesn't have these interactions at all.
