Some locations, such as the way to the Gutanbac Shrine and the Herba Mountains, are particularly cold, so you need to know how to get the Snowquill armor set in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom before you head up there.
Although there are different ways to keep warm in the game (such as food or fire), the Snowquill Armor Set is still the best choice to warm up your character. It's also not the only armor set that can help in these situations. It's just one of the easiest to grab. If you have the cash, that is.
How to get teh Snowquill armor set in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Snowquill Armor consists of three parts: Tunic, Trousers, and Headdress. Fortunately, they can all be found in one place. You can buy each part of the set for a total of 2150 rupees from Brazen Beak in Rito Village.
The coordinates of this place are as follows: 3629, 1799, 0187.
As you probably know, you can get a discount on some types of equipment by completing certain quests. This time around, however, it would appear that there's no such quest for Snowquill Armor, so you have to buy it at full price. Considering the pieces of equipment separately, you have the following prices:
- Tunic - 500 rupees
- Trousers - 1000 rupees
- Headdress - 650 rupees
Each item in the set has a Base Defense value of three. This means that there are nine defense points in total, although this is not the maximum, and on the fourth upgrade level, its value will be 20.
Also, when you wear the full Snowquill Set, you will receive Unfreezable Bonus and cold resistance. Snowquill Armor Set is a must-have. Without it, you'll struggle to survive in cold locations.
