With no vehicles available, your only options are running, climbing, and fighting as you travel around environmental threats. Since every physical action, from sprinting to melee attacks, depletes Stamina, it is essential to manage it efficiently.

It will be difficult to dodge enemy attacks or get through challenging terrain without stamina. Unlike other survival games, Stalker 2 does not offer stamina upgrades through their progression system. Instead, you must take some strategic measures to continue standing. How to Increase Stamina

In Stalker 2, stamina determines how long you can run, jump, or perform any attack. As there are no vehicles available, every step forward consumes stamina. If depleted, your character will become sluggish, making your fights and moving much harder. Here’s how you can increase your stamina:

Manage Inventory Weight

The weight of your inventory directly affects stamina consumption as well as regeneration. Your character can only take up to 80 kg, but keeping it under 50 kg is recommended to avoid any trouble. You can find the weight bar that shows your load status at the bottom of your inventory.

  • Green Zone (under 50 kg): Provide optimal stamina usage and quick regeneration.
  • Yellow Zone (50-70 kg): Offers a slightly slower stamina regeneration.
  • Red Zone (above 70 kg): Restrict the character’s mobility and slow stamina regeneration.

Remove extra items from your bag to manage your inventory weight and focus on essential gear. Always maintain a light load for better endurance and faster recovery.

Use Water and Energy Drinks

Consumables like water and energy drinks are important for stamina restoration. Water moderately restores stamina and reduces hunger. Energy drinks, on the other hand, provide an instant stamina boost and increase hunger. Store these items in an easily accessible slot to utilize them effectively during fights or exploration. Avoid using them unnecessarily, especially energy drinks, as they increase hunger.

Artifacts can boost stamina by increasing its maximum capacity or enhancing its regeneration rate. For example, the Battery artifact, found near electric anomaly fields, increases stamina but exposes you to mild radiation. To counter this, it's wise to equip radioprotective artifacts or gear to neutralize the harmful effects.

Allow Stamina to Regenerate

Fortunately, stamina replenishes over time if you avoid running or performing exhaustive tasks. You can find the blue stamina bar just below the health bar to monitor the stamina level. Allow your character to take a short break when his stamina runs low for recovery.
