In Chapter 3 of Black Myth: Wukong, you will pass through a harsh prison in the Pagoda Realm. However, you'll notice that many of the cells are eerily locked with a purple lock. No matter what you do, these locks cannot be opened.
So, what is the reason why these cells are not opening? It's pretty simple: you need to defeat a troublesome boss called Captain Lotus-Vision.
To reach this boss, after finding the first Keeper's Shrine, head to the Upper Pagoda from the cell on the left. However, you'll encounter many enemies along the way. The choice is entirely up to you: either fight them or quickly pass by and move towards your target.
After reaching the second Keeper's Shrine in the Upper Pagoda, jump into the pit directly across from the shrine. This is where Captain Lotus-Vision will be waiting for you.
You need to fight and defeat it. Although it may seem very difficult at first, you can overcome it with the right moves.
After defeating the boss, all the purple locks in the prison will be removed, allowing you to enter all the cells. Now, return to the starting point of the Pagoda and enter the unlocked cells, where you can open the chests and do the prisoner quest.
