On your journey to become the greatest, you’ll face many obstacles in Black Myth: Wukong. These aren’t just any obstacles but hardcore, highly-trained enemies. From nonhuman creatures to unspeakable beasts. Defeating these monsters allows you to earn Sparks, which can be invested into designing your character's playstyle.
In Black Myth: Wukong, each enemy has its unique playstyle. You won’t be able to use the same playstyle with every enemy efficiently. You must analyze and strategically invest your Sparks to defeat these enemies. The game features a Respec System that helps you strategize and plan your next move. Luckily, this guide explains everything you need to know about this wonderful feature.
What is respec?
As you continue your journey in Black Myth: Wukong, you’ll need to invest your Skill Points, known as Sparks, to unlock different skills. Respec allows you to use your already-used Skill Points to unlock another move. Think of it as an exchange program only where you exchange one move with another. You can Respec anytime without any restrictions.
There are more than 80 bosses in Black Myth: Wukong. You’ll need to invest your Sparks in various skill trees and acquire specific skills to neutralize them.
How to Respec?
Here’s everything you need to know on how to Respec In Black Myth: Wukong:
Keeper’s Shrine
To Respec, locate the closest Keeper’s Shrine and interact with it. Here, you’ll need to navigate and find the Self-Advance option. Once found, select the option, and you’ll see an option for Reignite the Sparks. You can view all the Skill Points you have invested across the Skill Trees.
Reclaiming The Points
Using the designated button on your preferred platform, press and hold the Reclaim Points option from the menu. This will return all your skill points in seconds, allowing you to use them for your next battle.
Earning Skill Points
Naturally, Sparks are earned via meditation, leveling up, and defeating bosses. This can be made easier if you target huge bosses or mediation spots. By slaying bigger beasts, you’ll earn double the amount of XP, and Mediation Spots guarantee loads of Sparks.
Mastering the respec ability
Respec is a free-of-cost feature that provides players with some relaxation instead of having them run around in circles collecting enough XP to afford to unlock a new skill set. If an enemy destroys you in battle, reclaim your sparks and unlock new moves to use in a fight.
Sparks can be used to invest in one’s health, maximizing their HP. This enables them to challenge the most difficult foes without worrying about their health. You can use the skill points to upgrade a certain spell, increasing its duration and the damage it can cause.
