Can you change character appearance in Immortals of Aveum?
Despite the gripping narrative that players follow in Immortals of Aveum, it at times feels a lot more like a playable movie than it does a game. A big part of this is the limited customisation options in the game, as well as the absence of side quests. Unfortunately, players are not able to change Jak’s appearance in Immortals of Aveum, as he tries to put an end to the Everwar and save Aveum from certain and complete destruction.
Jak undergoes a noticeable change in appearance between the prologue and the main components of the story in the form of a haircut. However, this is the extent of the changes players will see. Armour and clothing are non-factors in player performance, with magic taking the defensive and protective duties that would otherwise be occupied by armour or physical defenses.
Immortals of Aveum customisation options
While customisation options are almost non-existent in Immortals of Aveum, players will have a few options for Jak’s Sigils that vary in appearance. The different Sigils in the game are selected based on how they improve Jak’s ability to ward off his adversaries, but nonetheless, there is a visual difference.

As you progress through the story and discover the many secrets in Aveum, you will encounter a variety of different upgradable gear types. Jak is able to equip and upgrade his Sigils, bracers, rings, and totems, all of which offer different boosts and will vary in appearance. While it won’t offer the same satisfying individuality that comes with customising a player, you’ll get some influence on how your character’s weapons and gear look.
