Is it cross-platform?
At the moment, it seems that the game is sadly not cross-platform. This means that you cannot play the multiplayer mode with friends on a different console or device. There has been no official word on whether this may happen in the future. But for now, if you want to play multiplayer mode then you will need to do so with friends who are playing on the same system as you.
If crossplay does become available in the future, we will make sure to update this page.
What can you play Stardew Valley on?
Stardew Valley is currently available for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles, as well as Apple and Android devices. And although the game is available on a variety of different platforms, cross-platform gameplay has not been enabled yet.
So that's all we know so far about whether Stardew Valley is cross-platform or not. Additionally, we have a guide that shows you how to fish so you can really maximise your profits on your farm.
