Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth - How to inherit abilities
Inheriting abilities is connected with changing your job, which you can do after unlocking jobs in chapter six. First things first, you'll need to head to an Alo-Happy Tour agency and use the Alo-Happy Room. Inside the room, you'll be presented with two options: Change Jobs and Skill Inheritance.
For the locations, check out the in-game map by pressing Triangle (on PS5) to find locations easily. There are agencies in Hawaii, Yokohama, and Kamurocho. To make it easier for you, here is the list of places where you can find Alo-Happy Rooms:
Hawaii (unlocked in chapter five):
- Alo-Happy Tours agency (Waikiki)
- Alo-Happy Tours agency (Anaconda Shopping Center)
- Alo-Happy Room (Hawaiian Haunt)
Yokohama (unlocked in chapter eight):
- Alo-Happy Tours agency (West Jinnai station)
- Alo-Happy Room (Hello Work Misaki Parking Lot)
Kamurocho (unlocked in chapter eight):
- Alo-Happy Room (Kamurocho Theater Square)
Once you have selected Skill Inheritance inside the Alo-Happy Room, you will be able to see the skills that you can select for your character.
To inherit abilities, you need to level up your bond levels with a character. For Ichiban, you'll need to level up his personality traits, which is achieved by reaching level 5 on each trait for a skill slot.
For other characters, you need to get the following bond levels to inherit abilities:
- Level 10
- Level 30
- Level 40
- Level 50
- Level 70
- Level 100
The first five ability slots are for normal abilities, which are spells and attacks, while the final slot is for Essence moves. These are special moves unique to each job, marked with a rainbow symbol.
You can only inherit skills you've unlocked from previous jobs. For example, Kiryu can switch to the action star job and get to rank 17. Then, he can switch back to his default job, Dragon of Dojima. Since his bond is at level 50, he can unlock up to four skills from the action star job that he acquires while ranking up. This is limited to the unlocked ones, of course.
