As all the excitement and anticipation builds up to the launch of this series, we’re going to look ahead to the early access period and answer particular questions that fans may have about when they can expect to try out the new game.
So, let’s cut right to the chase.
Madden 24 early access release time
The early access period for Madden 24 will begin on August 15, 2023 and run for three consecutive days, after which the worldwide release will become available to everyone on August 18, 2023. Now, this is pretty much on par with the schedule for previous launches of this game.
If you pre-order the Deluxe version of Madden 24, you will automatically qualify for eligibility to the early access program and, in addition to that, you’ll receive a digital gift of 4,800 Madden Points which you can use to purchase items, packs and bundles inside the Madden Ultimate Team game mode.

The bonuses don’t stop there either, because pre-ordering this Deluxe version gives you additional game perks such as Dual Entitlement, a choice of two Strategy Items (one offence and one defence) and an amazing Josh Allen Elite Player Item.
So, if you want to benefit from the early access release, purchasing the Deluxe edition of the game is the best way forward.
What time does the Madden 24 early access begin?
The start time for Madden 24 early access has not officially been announced by the game’s developers, so we can only pretty much take a guess at this based on the early access release time of previous editions of the game.
Last year, Madden 23’s early access begun at 5AM BST / 9PM PDT / 12AM EDT, so it’s pretty likely that a similar timeline will be in place for this year’s game.

Based on this information, we’ve made some plausible predictions on when the early access will come out in different world time zones. This is as follows:
- United Kingdom – 5 am British Summer Time (BST) on August 15
- Europe – 6 am Central European Summer Time (CEST) on August 15
- Asia – 12 pm Malaysia Time (MYT) on August 15
- Japan – 1 pm Japan Standard Time (JST) on August 15
- Australia – 2 pm Australian Eastern Time (AET) on August 15
- South America – 1 am Brasilia Time (BRT) on August 15
- North America (United States) – 9 pm Pacific Time Zone (PDT) on August 14 / 10 pm Mountain Time Zone (MDT) on August 14 / 11 pm Central Time Zone (CDT) on August 14 / 12 am Eastern Time Zone (EDT) on August 15
Will Madden 24 early access be on EA Play?
Yes, the early access version of Madden 24 will be available on EA Play if you’re subscribed to it.
This will give you a 10-hour trial of the game which will include full access to all modes, in-game extras including recurring Ultimate Team Packs, and a 10% discount when pre-ordering the new game and when purchasing packs. More so, saved data from your trial period will carry over to the full version of the game should you choose to make the purchase in the future.
It’s also imperative to note that you won’t need an EA Play Pro subscription to play the trial, but you will need a standard EA Play subscription.
