You've come to the right place; in this guide, we've got all the best attachments and perks that you should equip alongside the GS Magna. Also, we'll be passing our judgment on whether the GS Magna is worth picking in Modern Warfare 3.
The GS Magna is a high-powered pistol, reminiscent of the iconic Desert Eagle. On its own, the Magna has a hell of a kick, so you'll need to find a way of stabilising its heavy recoil.
Before we take a look at the best GS Magna loadout, check out our guides on whether the game has split-screen co-op or our walkthrough on how to do the New Zealand trick in Modern Warfare 3. You can find these and many more guides in our dedicated Modern Warfare 3 walkthrough hub.
What is the best Modern Warfare 3 GS Magna loadout?
Unfortunately, we're not able to give our verdict on what the best FTAC Siege loadout is, as Modern Warfare 3 has only recently been released. That being said, the GS Magna probably won't prove itself to be a particularly strong weapon, as pistols are often overpowered by weapons with higher damage and range.
We’ll be updating this guide with our thoughts on the best loadout for the GS Magna when we've had a chance to play Modern Warfare 3 and try out some loadouts for the gun. Check back here later to see our complete thoughts on the best loadout for the GS Magna.
Best Modern Warfare 3 GS Magna attachments
For the GS Magna, you'll definitely need to make use of the Gunsmith, as without any attachments the gun is a challenge to use. In Modern Warfare 3, players can use the Gunsmith to radically alter and upgrade their weaponry, unlocking new attachments as they master different weapons.
Right now, we're still working out the best attachments for the GS Magna, so you'll have to wait for now before hearing our thoughts on the best combination for the pistol. As soon as we've tested some different attachment loadouts, we'll be updating this section with all the latest details.
Best Modern Warfare 3 GS Magna perks and equipment
Below, we’ve got the best perks and equipment to help you get the most out of the GS Magna in Modern Warfare 3.
Perks
- Vest: Overkill
- Gloves: Marksman
- Boots: Lightweight
- Gear: Tac Mask
With the GS Magna, you'll want to use the overkill vest. This will greatly improve your mobility, by allowing you to reload while sprinting and increasing your weapon swap speed. Moreover, using the marksman gloves will ensure you land more of your shots with the GS Magna. These will reduce the sway and flinch that you experience while you're ADS.
For your shoes, picking the lightweight will increase your movement and swimming speed, as well as giving a reduction to the noise you make while swimming. Finally, the Tac Mask reduces the effects of enemy flash grenades, stun grenades, shock, EMP, and snapshot grenades, making it a powerful perk to have equipped with the GS Magna. Since your opponent's tactical equipment will be made less effective, you'll gain the upper hand in engagements.
Equipment
- Lethal: Frag Grenade
- Tactical: Flash Grenade
Of all the lethal types of equipment, the frag grenade offers a trustworthy, classic, and effective way to eliminate your enemies. Mastering the frag grenade will come quickly, as you learn the range and timings of the grenade. Eventually, you'll be able to use the equipment to kill enemies at a variety of ranges, or in hard-to-reach places.
For your tactical equipment, flash grenades also provide a familiar and simple-to-use option. You can use your flashes to blind aggressors if you're being pushed, or to become the aggressor and get the drop on your opponent. Ultimately, few of the tactical weapons are as versatile as the simple flash grenade.
Is the Modern Warfare 3 GS Magna meta?
Since the GS Magna is a pistol, it is highly unlikely that the gun will become meta in Modern Warfare 3. However, if you're looking for a secondary that prioritises damage over all else, the GS Magna is the one-trick pistol for the job.
Before we can fully judge whether the GS Magna has made an impact on Modern Warfare 3's meta, we'll have to wait a bit longer to see it in action. Until then, we can only speculate on how the GS Magna will perform; we'll be updating our thoughts as soon as we have the relevant information.
