Before we take a look at the best M13C loadout, you should consider our guides on whether Modern Warfare 3 will have slide-cancelling, or how to inspect your weapon, You can find these and much more in our dedicated Modern Warfare 3 walkthrough hub.
What is the best Modern Warfare 3 M13C loadout?
- Perks: Gunner / Marksman / Stalker / Mission Control Commlink
- Grenades: Semtex / Smoke Grenade
Best Modern Warfare 3 M13C attachments
After testing a range of different attachments, we've settled on a set of five that's ideal for close-quarters and mid-range action:
- Muzzle: STER45 Skyfury Compensator
- Barrel: 10" Bruen FCT-6
- Stock: TRX-56 Stock
- Underbarrel: FTAC MSP-98 Handstop
- Rear Grip: D37 Grip
To tame the recoil of the M13C, the STER45 Skyfury Compensator, FTAC MSP-98 Handstop, TRX-56 Stock, and the D37 Grip all combine to ensure levels of accuracy are maintained when firing the rifle for any length of time. Despite a slight reduction in handling levels, the rifle is still very easy to use in most scenarios.
For a boost in damage, the 10" Bruen FCT-6 barrel minimises any kind of damage drop-off when firing the M13C at a target that's far away.
Best Modern Warfare 3 M13C perks and equipment
Below, we’ve got the best perks and equipment to help you get the most out of the M13C in Modern Warfare 3.
Perks
- Vest: Gunner
- Gloves: Marksman
- Boots: Stalker
- Gear: Mission Control Commlink
When using the M13C, the gunner vest pairs well with the assault rifle, granting the player more ammo and a faster reload speed. Due to the M13C's great ranged capability, we recommend the marksman gloves to reduce sway and improve your long-range aim.
For your feet, we recommend the stalker boots, as they'll give you an advantage in gunfights with a faster strafe speed. Additionally, a faster ADS speed is always an important upgrade. Lastly, we prefer to use the Mission Control Commlink perk with the M13C, to maximise the use of killstreaks.
Equipment
- Lethal: Semtex
- Tactical: Smoke Grenade
As with our Modern Warfare 2 loadout, our preference for the lethal equipment is Semtex. Thanks to its reliability at confirming kills, Semtex is incredibly versatile and easy to use, although any of the lethal equipment can be used to great effect with a bit of practice.
For the tactical equipment, our pick is the smoke grenade. This utility will enable you to cut off lines of site, allowing you to reposition yourself without exposing yourself to enemies.
Is the Modern Warfare 3 M13C meta?
Based on how the weapon performs in Modern Warfare 2, we don't expect M13C to play a significant part in Modern Warfare 3's meta. The gun simply doesn't have the potential damage output when compared with other assault rifles, and players using the M13C will probably find themselves getting outgunned. However, until Modern Warfare 3 comes out, we can only speculate how the M13C will perform on release.
