Best Modern Warfare 3 Riveter attachments

The gunsmith contains a range of attachments to suit all styles of play. After some extensive testing,

  • Barrel: Adjudicator Long Barrel
  • Stock: DAV15 Light Tactical Stock
  • Rear Grip: XTEN Grip
  • Ammunition: .410 Gauge Ball
  • Magazine: 30 Round Mag

The main damage increase comes from the Adjudicator Long Barrel and the .40 Gauge Ball. In addition to the firepower improvements, the ammunition also improves hip-fire accuracy and recoil control.

The DAV 15 Light Tactical Stock gives you lightning-fast reaction times and faster aim-down sight speed if you feel like firing the Riveter from the hip isn't having the desired effect.

Arguably the star of the show is the 30 Round Mag. The last thing you need is the magazine running empty when unleashing a barrage of shells so this huge magazine allows you to deal with multiple targets before having to take cover and reload.

Best Modern Warfare 3 Riveter class

Once the best Riveter attachments are ready for battle, choosing perks and equipment that bolster your performance even further is the next step to building the best Riveter loadout. Here's what we recommend.

Perks

  • Vest: Infantry
  • Gloves: Commando
  • Boots: Covert Sneakers
  • Gear: EOD Padding

The Infantry vest provides a buff to Tactical Sprint length in addition to boosting its refresh rate so you can use it more often. Commando gloves allow you to reload while sprinting which is handy if you come under fire while retreating.

Covert Sneakers eliminates all footstep audio, perfect for getting behind enemy lines undetected. Lastly, EOD Padding increases your resistance to any nearby explosives that are looking to bring your streak to an early end.

Equipment

  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Flash Grenade

The trusty combination of Semtex and a flash grenade is a surefire way of dealing additional damage and disrupting the vision of your opponents.

Use the Semtex for some additional damage but if it doesn't secure the kill, follow up with a flashbang to temporarily blind the opponent and finish them off with a fully-loaded Riveter.

Is the Modern Warfare 3 Riveter meta?

For close-range engagements, there are few weapons that can compete with the immense firepower of the Riveter. The barrage of bullets chops down anyone in your crosshairs but at longer distances, it does struggle against anyone using an assault rifle or sniper.
