How to get Modern Warfare 3 Akimbo
This modifier is intended only for secondary weapons, which is obvious because using two assault rifles at the same time would be too unbalanced. So, here are the requirements for different weapons:
Weapon | Requirements |
---|---|
P890 | Reach weapon level 26 |
.50 GS | Reach level 9 on GS Magna |
GS Magna | Reach level 9 on GS Magna |
X12 | Reach level 12 on X12 |
X13 | Reach level 12 on X12 |
FTAC Siege | Make 25 hip-fire kills using FTAC Siege |
9mm Daemon | Reach weapon level 20 |
As you can see, in most cases, you will need to level up your weapon, so just be active and use it in combat as much as possible. First, we recommend leveling up the weapons that you like the most. This way, you can make great builds by combining a convenient main weapon and a powerful secondary weapon with a modifier to finish off enemies.
When you eventually unlock Akimbo for your secondary weapon, you can get a significant advantage in close combat. This modification is perfect for use on small maps, as well as in Cutthroat 3v3v3 mode. As for medium and long-range attacks, this modifier will be less effective, so try to get closer to enemies by sliding towards them.
