As the name suggests, ammo mods are ammunition modifications in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. These mods augment your bullets with special properties and improve their overall capabilities. There are five confirmed Ammo Mods for Modern Warfare 3 Zombies confirmed so far.
- Brain Rot
- Cryo Freeze
- Dead Wire
- Napalm Burst
- Shatter Blast
Brain Rot has your bullets deal toxic damage, which is poisonous to bare flesh. Cryo Freeze deals frost damage and slows down enemies. Dead Wire augments your bullets with electrical damage, which can zap multiple enemies. Napalm Burst deals fire damage, which can burn your enemies. Last but not least, Shatter Blast deals explosive physical damage, which has a large area of effect on impact.
Veterans of previous Call of Duty titles might recognize a bunch of these from previous Zombies variations. Their functionality is similar to their previous iterations, and you can expect many of the old ammo mod mechanics to make a comeback.
