Here's how to pack a punch in Modern Warfare 3 zombies. Modern Warfare 3 zombies has you fight zombies. Despite the inclusion of a feature allowing for multiple squads of players to be on the same map, you're not going to win against these undead hordes in a game of numbers.

Fortunately, as with every Call of Duty zombies mode, Modern Warfare 3 makes up for this by giving you tonnes of avenues to become freakishly overpowered. One such method is by using pack a punch machines, a staple of Call of Duty zombies campaigns.

How does pack a punch work in Modern Warfare 3?

Pack a punch machines are a well-known staple of Call of Duty zombies games. They essentially provide your weapon with tiered upgrades, allowing you to up your battle strength as the zombie hordes get tougher to deal with. There are up to three tiers of upgrades that pack a punch machines that can give your weapons in Modern Warfare 3, but this number depends on your location in the game's open-world map.

There are three zones in Modern Warfare 3's maps, which determines how difficult the zombies in an area will be. As you get closer to the map's centre zombies get tougher to deal with, but to balance this out, you'll also have access to more pack a punch upgrades.

How to pack a punch weapons in Modern Warfare 3

The cost of upgrading your weapon with pack a punch will be 5,000 points for the first, 10,000 points for the second, and finally, 15,000 points for the third upgrade.

After finding a pack a punch machine, spend your points on the weapon of your choosing. Then wait a few seconds while it's kept in the machine, during which you'll have to stave off the undead without your weapon, and then enjoy the upgrades you receive. Your weapon will get a significant damage increase and potential upgrades like ammo mods that can come in handy when mowing down zombies.

These upgrades can be game-changers, allowing you to go from an easier zone to a tougher one without getting run down in the process. Even special weapons, like Modern Warfare 3's new wonder weapon, the Scorcher, can be pack a punched, which will exponentially increase your character's firepower.
