While it's great to have your army Pals in Palworld, it can get quite confusing once you amass hundreds of them. This is especially the case when you're incentivised to collect many of the same types of Pal for the XP bonus. This is where changing your Pal name can come in handy.
Note only is a customised Palworld Pal name a lot more cuter and personal it will also allow you to differentiate specific Pals from others. For example, if you've become particularly attached to one member of the Paldeck or want to build an army of workers, you can change their names with ease.

How to change Pal names in Palworld
There are two methods you can use to change your Pal name in Palworld.
The first is to open the main menu, hover over to the Party tab and open the details for your Pal. Next to the Pal's name, you will see a blue button that says 'Edit'. You can click on this and type any name within 24 characters including spaces.

+ 2However, the Pal does not need to be in your Party for you to change its name. You can access the details for your Pal through the Pal Box menu screen or by manually walking up to a Pal and interacting with it to open the Pal Wheel. From here you can select details and navigate to the Details screen to repeat the same process as above.
click to enlarge + 2Now you should be able to comfortably differentiate between your Pals by changing their Pal names. Give them cute nicknames or keep with the branding of the game and give your Pal something more sinister, it's entirely your choice.
