Pokemon is always adding dozens of unique new designs to their roster with every new generation. Pokemon Go has a ton of content to catch up with and keep adding to its own lineup of Pokemon. This is why community events are so important, as they let you target specific Pokemon. One such Pokemon is Fuecoco. Let's go over Fuecoco and Shiny Fuecoco in Pokemon Go.

Fuecoco is a unique Fire-Ghost type Pokemon which takes design inspiration from a crocodile. Fuecoco is well known by Gen 9 players as it is the starter Fire Pokemon for the Paldea region. If you're looking to catch Fuecoco in Pokemon Go or learn about its shiny variant, we've got you covered.

Does Pokemon Go have a shiny Fuecoco?

No, you cannot find and capture Shiny Fuecoco, as it has not been added to Pokemon Go yet. We expect Fuecoco to be added during a Paldea-themed event or during the Fuecoco Community Day.

While you can't get a shiny Fuecoco, you can still evolve your Fuecoco into Crocalor and Skeledirge. It takes 50 and 100 Rare Candies, respectively, to evolve into both forms.

How to find Fuecoco in Pokemon Go

The only way to catch Fuecoco in Pokemon Go is by finding it and capturing it in the wild. There is no set method to catch a Fucoco, but it gets a spawn rate increase during sunny weather and clear skies as it's a Fire-type Pokemon.

The Horizons: The Series Celebration event lasting from Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 10 AM to Monday, March 11, 2024, at 8 PM local time increased Fuecoco's spawn rate. Hopefully, we'll see another soon.
