If you've just caught a Pawmi, you're probably wondering "when does Pawmi evolve in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?" After all, it looks like the Pikachu clones of other games: and they rarely get any bigger. Thankfully, we've dug around and found out more about this little critter ahead of launch. Here's what you'll want to know before catching and training a Pawmi.
Pawmi is a brand new Pokemon to the franchise, and it's already a massive fan favourite. Cute Pokemon often gain a lot of popularity, and Pawmi is no different. This Pokemon is just another in a long line of adorable electric types you'll probably want to put in your team if you're a fan of the cute and cuddly sort.
While we're waiting for the game to drop, why not freshen up on the Paldea Dex, the Paldea region map, and learning what the new Tera Raids are. We've also got guides on how to get Charmander and what level Sprigatito evolves as well.
Does Pawmi evolve in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?
Despite early marketing material suggesting Pawmi would always stay its little self like Pachirisu, Emolga, Togedemaru, and Morpeko, Pawmi actually evolves twice. It's more like Shinx in that it's an Electric-type Pokemon you'll come across early and evolve multiple times throughout your journey around Paldea.
What level does Pawmi evolve into Pawmo?
Your little Pawmi will evolve into Pawmo as soon as it hits level 18. It's a Pokemon you can catch at a very low level early in the game, so it makes sense that its evolution comes relatively early as well.
What level does Pawmo evolve into Pawmot?
Pawmot won't actually evolve at a specific level, so don't keep leveling it up expecting it to happen.
Pawmo evolves into Pawmot only upon leveling up after walking 1000 steps outside of its Pokeball using the Let's Go system. This is done by having it in your lead spot, pressing R to let it out, and walking around Paldea.
We have a guide on how to walk Pokemon fast in Scarlet and Violet. There's a trick that makes evolving Pawmo take about three minutes.
And that's all we have for you! While you're here, be sure to check out some of our other Pokemon Scarlet and Violet guides, such as our guide on how to evolve Charcadet, our Black crystal tera raids guide, and our Scarlet and Violet Starter's guide.
