Resident Evil 4 remake best weapons
Check out our top picks for some of the best weapons in the Resident Evil 4 remake.
Red9 Handgun
A favourite among Resident Evil 4 fans, this gun obviously uses handgun ammo. Seemingly weak, this gun does huge damage and has a large clip size.
The Red9 Handgun is more formidable too, if you know how to upgrade it properly. You can put more stock into ammo, which is a great combination in producing an accurate and deadly handgun that can help you in a tight spot. Furthermore, acquiring ammo for this is fairly easy so you won't have trouble finding some.
Semi-Auto Rifle
This auto rifle in Resident Evil 4 is one of the best one-shot kill weapons you can get in the game. Plus, its sound effects are satisfying with every shot you take.
Additionally, almost every enemy you encounter in the game can be killed with one bullet from this gun. Equally, the semi-auto rifle is immensely helpful against bosses you'll encounter as you get higher chances of making critical damage. Just don't expect to one-hit kill bosses!
Rocket Launcher
A very destructive weapon, of course anyone would want to use the rocket launcher to easily take down enemies with one blast. Though take note that you'll need to have saved up for the infinite ammo variant of this, or use the 30,000 point version too, if you want to use this on speed runs. Otherwise, you'll run out of ammo fast.
As the rocket launcher is very powerful and deals with a lot of damage, you're safe to use it as it doesn't hurt Leon at all. You can use the weapon in close combat with that information in mind.
TMP
The TMP has a huge ammo capacity that will allow you to take down several enemies with much ease. You can also upgrade it to further improve the gun, rattling off more shots.
Do remember that the TMP boasts stun capabilities and infrequent reloading, which makes it also a go-to weapon for players of the game. Additionally, you'll need to learn how to invest in the gun's ammo upgrades, and make sure you properly save your ammo too, to not waste it before getting to major boss fights.
Plagas Removal Laser
The final weapon on this list is the Plagas Removal Laser. It kills enemies with one shot and can even lock on multiple enemies. So if you're in a tight spot, using this weapon is the way to go.
You'll be able to save a lot of currency for other weapons and upgrades if you use this weapon. Just make sure you know how to use it wisely too, because it's mightily powerful.
Now that you know some of the best weapons to use for the Resident Evil 4 remake, you're sure to become a sharpshooter and take down enemies with a breeze. For more on the game, read up on how to beat the El Gigante boss in Resident Evil 4 remake.
