Are you looking for information on how to save in Sea of Stars? Well, if you are then you can sit back and relax as you’ve come to the right place! Sea of Stars is one of the hottest RPG releases of the year and, once you get stuck into this title, you’re going to want to keep track of your progress as it’s a really addictive game.
Like many other adventurous turn-based RPGs that this game was inspired by, saving your progress isn’t as simple as clicking a few buttons on the main menu.
Have a read below to learn exactly how the saving process for this game works. For further information about this game, you can also check out how to level up as well as how to fish in the game.
How to save your game in Sea of Stars
Saving your game in Sea of Stars is accomplished through save checkpoints located at different areas within the game world. If you know what to look for, these save points are pretty easy to find.
Simply look for a book that rests atop a glowing pedestal. This book has a brown leather appearance with a brightly glowing blue stone in the middle of it.
Have a look at the game footage below for an example of what we’re talking about here:
Once you’ve spotted this book, all you need to do is head over to it with your in-game character and start an interaction with it. From that point on, a save menu will pop up on your screen, which will then prompt you to save your game progress in one of the available save files.
If you find the task of looking for this book every time you want to save your game a bit tedious, then you also have the option of using the autosave feature. This is indicated by a book located in the bottom right corner of your screen as soon as you enter an important area with your character.
What you should know about autosave in this game is that it doesn’t save your progress into a visible file. Instead, this progress is just booted up when you select “Continue” from the main menu.
When should you save in Sea of Stars?
Ideally, you’re going to want to save your progress in this game before every major encounter with a boss who you’re supposed to fight. Defeating an enemy of this stature is by no means an easy task, and you’ll want to be able to quickly restart a battle against a boss should you find it tough.
A good example of such a scenario is when you come up against the Elder Mist boss within the game. Without knowledge on how to defeat this boss, you can lose a lot of your game progress if you don’t save beforehand.
