Skull and Bones draws its appeal from the multiplayer aspect that lets you prove your skills against other pirates and fight for prestige. Style is essential for any respectable pirate, and you can't go on wearing rags forever. That's why it's important to change clothes in Skull and Bones.
The game starts you off with some miserable rags, but you can get a better set of clothes pretty early on. Today, we'll go over how you can obtain new clothes in Skull and Bones and how to change clothes, so you can stop looking like a complete newbie.

How to change clothes
You can change clothes at the Vanity Atelier shops. The first Vanity Atelier shop is located in Saint Anne, and you won't unlock it until you make some progress through the tutorial. Once you reach Saint Anne, you can find the Vanity Atelier shop on the map, as it's marked with a mirror symbol.
The Vanity Atelier NPC gives you the option to change your appearance or to change your clothes. Clothing items include head coverings, pants, shoes, and arm decorations. Early on, you will not have access to many clothing items, but these will become available as you play the game a bit more.
How to get more clothes
There are several different methods to get more clothes in Skull and Bones. These are as follows:
- Raise your Infamy level to unlock different clothing items.
- Raise your Kingpin level to unlock unique cosmetics
- You can purchase clothes from the Vanity Atelier shops. This requires you to collect currencies such as silver or pieces of eight to buy new cosmetics.
- You can also unlock clothes as part of the bonuses in the Deluxe Edition.
Note that you cannot purchase anything from the Vanity Atelier until you make some more progress and speak to Scurlock.
That's all you need to know about changing clothes in Skull and Bones. Now you can go ahead and drip out your character with pirate garb and cosmetics that would put Jack Sparrow to shame! For more guides, learn about the open beta and how to get the Snow Leopard.
