As part of the Stardew Valley 1.6 update, ConcernedApe has added another seasonal festival for players to participate in alongside the Egg Festival. In addition to the Desert Festival, the Bookseller has also made their arrival. How to start Stardew Valley Desert Festival
The Desert Festival is a three-day event that is only available during the spring months of the year. You can only get there after repairing the bus so make sure that's done before you think about attending.
From Spring 15 to 18, the bus driver will take you to the Desert Festival from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Just like the other seasonal festivals, there are numerous activities you can participate in during the Desert Festival. Ranging from a race through the centre of town, a spicy food vendor where you can create all kinds of dishes, and a knowledge scholar.
How to collect Calico Eggs in Stardew Valley
The main focus of the Stardew Valley Desert Festival is collecting Calico Events which act as currency while the festival is taking place. Here are all of the ways you can collect them:
- Answering Knowledge Scholar questions
- Completing Willy's fishing request
- Exploring Skull Cavern
- Complete the Adventurer's Guild Challenge
- Guess the winner of the Desert Festival race
Stardew Valley Desert Festival items
Depending on the number of Calico Eggs you collect, you can exchange them for a variety of items by speaking to the Calico Egg vendor. Some of the items range from a Mystery Box to a Mummy Mask.
