Looking to make a life with Penny on the farm? Here's how to romance Penny in Stardew Valley. Shy and incredibly hard-working, Penny is clearly looking for an escape and a chance to give the kids around town a better upbringing than her mother gave her.
Down below, we'll go over everything you need to know to woo Penny in your first year. We'll cover her likes and dislikes, where to find her at any time of day (yes, we're aware of how creepy that sounds, but time management is important), and how her various romance events play out. They're a quick way to make her yours.
For a few other bits, check out five games like Stardew Valley for when you've exhausted this one. You'll also want to repair the community center and solve the Winter Mystery quest. And for the whole lot, our Stardew Valley walkthrough hub is worth checking out. Our Stardew Valley characters guide works in a similar fashion.
Penny Romance Guide
Penny's life more or less revolved around tutoring Jas and Vincent. She'll spend most of her week meeting them at the Museum, playground, a spot near the graveyard, or the ice cream truck. By mid-afternoon, she begins walking them home.
On her days off, Penny likes to relax by the river or in town either reading a book or, on the odd occasion, meeting friends by a bench.
Relatively shy, Penny likes to cook. Living with her bar-hopping mother is a sore point, and the overall messy state of her trailer irks her. She doesn't appear to have any lofty life goals, but she does want to start a family of her own.

Hearts | Event |
---|---|
Two | Visit the town at 9am-2pm on a sunny day. You notice Penny helping George. She asks you a question. |
Four | Triggered by entering Penny's trailer whenever she's home alone. You help Penny clean the trailer before being interrupted by Pam. |
Six | Triggered by entering Penny's trailer whenever she's home alone. You trying her new recipe and give your opinion. |
Eight | Triggered by entering Cindersap Forest from 9am-4pm. You help Penny give Jas a Vincent a good field trip. You then talk about whether or not you'd like to start a family. |

Fourteen | Lets you choose between the unique Forest and Moon, Strawberry Home, or Pirate Theme room decor options. Available from 3-7pm in the farmhouse whenever Penny is present. |
Married life after you've romanced Penny
After getting married to Penny, her schedule is the one that changes the least. After all, she still has a duty to tutor Vincent and Jas. The main thing is that she'll take Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday to stay on the farm instead of hanging around town reading books.
On the days between those, she'll continue to see the kids at the museum, playground, ice cream truck, and walk them home. On Monday, you'll find her either at Pierre's General Store in the morning or relaxing in town until the evening.
