Want the full list of all Tekken 8 characters? You've come to the right place.

Fighting game fans have enjoyed an amazing 2023 with the releases of Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1 and next year will continue that trend with Tekken 8, the highly anticipated follow-up to 2017's Tekken 7.

As always, fans will want to know what the roster for Tekken 8 looks like. The franchise has so many characters to pick and choose, combined with newcomers, to make it an interesting one.

Naturally, a few fan-favourites won't probably make the cut for the starting roster and will most likely be available as DLC later down the line. With that said, let's take a look at all confirmed Tekken 8 characters so far.

The franchise is known for launching with much bigger rosters than other fighting games not named Smash. The previous entry, Tekken 7, launched with 36 fighters for its console release.

For comparison, the last two Street Fighter titles, SF6 and SFV, launched with 18 and 16 respectively.

What's even more impressive is that Bandai Namco is constantly adding more and more characters via DLC. Tekken 7's final roster ended up with a total of 52 playable characters.
