Like most multiplayer-focused FPS games, The Finals goes through seasons to introduce new content such as weapons, skins, and maps. There are usually multiple ways of obtaining these rewards like progressing through a battle pass or achieving a certain rank.
Before we dive into the details of The Finals Diamond reward, feel free to go through some of our guides on the team-based shooter to help you elevate your game. We’ve got tips on how to stay hidden for 300 seconds and a quick look at the current The Finals meta.
What is The Finals Diamond reward?
When you reach Diamond League in The Finals, you will receive a diamond-themed weapon skin that makes it look like your equipment is encrusted with the precious mineral. For the game’s first season, it’s the V9S handgun that’s getting the diamond treatment.
The V9S is a semi-automatic pistol that is used by Light Build characters. It is a relatively quiet firearm that is most effective at close range, making it the ideal weapon for sneaking up on unsuspecting opponents.
So, if you enjoy using this weapon while playing with a Light Build, you may want to consider jumping into ranked play to acquire the sparkly weapon skin. To help set your expectations for the grind that’s ahead, take note that you’ll have to go through four leagues, each having four ranks, before reaching Diamond.
When does The Finals Season 1 end?
Should you decide to go for the diamond V9S skin this season, you’ll have until March 12, 2024 to reach your goal. This is when the Season 1 battle pass ends and the scheduled start date for Season 2. When the new season starts, it’ll be another weapon’s turn to be coated in diamonds.
If you’ve only just begun playing The Finals, you should know that you are also required to play through a minimum of 60 rounds before Ranked Tournament mode is unlocked. This is to make sure that players know what they’re doing before getting into a more competitive setting.
