Like most free games, it takes a while to unlock new guns and gear in The Finals. The time can fly by when you're playing with friends, but what if they're playing on another platform? In this guide, we'll answer an important question: Does The Finals have cross progression?
Even if you're not interested in playing with friends, cross progression is a great feature of modern gaming. Jumping from a console to PC or vice versa is less of a commitment when you can be sure all your weapons, skins, and battle pass progress will follow you.
While you're here, we've got plenty of other guides for The Finals. You can find out if the game is crossplay, get help making a heavy build, and learn about the current meta.
Does The Finals have cross progression?
Yes, The Finals has cross progression. It can be enabled by linking your accounts on the Embark Studios website. If you didn't make an Embark account when you first started the game, you'll need to make one before cross progression works. Follow the steps below to get it working.
- Visit the Embark Studios website and log in via platform of your choice
- At time of writing, the only options are Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation.
- Click the 'Connected Platforms' option and sign in with your other platforms' account(s).
- You can also connect to Twitch for drops.
After following those quick steps, your accounts should be connected and your hard work will follow you no matter which platform you play on, so long as you're logged in. Trophy hunters are out of luck, however, as the cross-progression does not take achievement progress into account.
That's everything we can share about The Finals' cross progression. Before you go, use our guides to setting up a light build or medium build to become a truly deadly contestant.
