The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom brings back the fun and pleasing visuals of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, now starring the princess. Traveling around Hyrule and saving the kingdom is exhausting, but it is great that Zelda can summon Echoes thanks to Tri and the Tri Rod.

Battling enemies without Link and solving puzzles takes wit and energy, so it is best to know the best ways to recuperate your lost hearts by using our quick guide on how to heal in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.

Pick up Hearts From Tall Grass and Enemies

As with any other Zelda game, Zelda starts with three hearts. Enemies, traps, and many other factors can damage Zelda, and in turn, she will have to heal to succeed in her quest to save Hyrule.

Zelda can pick up any hearts hidden in tall grass and other places, such as pots, to heal and restore her hearts. Hearts can be found throughout the kingdom; most enemies drop them when they are defeated. Zelda can also wear equipment that improves the spawn rates of restorative hearts.

Use a Bed Echo

A bed echo can be obtained fairly early in the game, and using one is one of the best ways to heal up. Simply summon a bed echo, press A to rest, and Zelda will slowly recover her hearts in no time.

Resting in a bed recovers half-hearts at a time, so Zelda may have to lie down for quite a bit if she is extremely low on health.

Drink Smoothies and Eat Smoothie Ingredients

Throughout her adventure, Zelda will be able to obtain various smoothie ingredients that can restore hearts. Like how Link cooks in Breath Of The Wild or Tears Of The Kingdom, ingredients in The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom can restore a small part of Zelda's health but are more effective when blended into a smoothie.

Business Scrubs around the kingdom are happy to help blend these delicious ingredients into a refreshing smoothie. Some Potions are also available for purchase in Hyrule shops.

Get a Bottle and Collect a Fairy

While Tri is a different type of fairy, classic fairies from the franchise are back to help Zelda on her journey. Tucked away in a Fairy Bottle, fairies will fully restore Zelda's heart if she receives a fatal blow, saving her from death. Fairies will always automatically get in an Empty Bottle, making it easier for the princess to collect them.

Relax in a Hot Spring

Hot springs are prominent locations throughout the Zelda franchise. In Echoes of Wisdom, hot springs can be seen in the Eldin Volcano region. Sitting down and relaxing in a hot spring will gradually restore Zelda's hearts, similar to how bed echoes work. Another great thing about hot springs is that they douse Zelda and put out the fire if she's burned.
