How to slide in The Outlast Trials
Slide in The Outlast Trials is a very important ability that allows you to move under certain objects. In order to perform it, you will need to do the next:
- Press the run button.
- Wait until your character starts sprinting.
- Press the crouch button.
- Your character starts to slide.
As you can see, this move is easy to perform, and you can use it to avoid some difficult situations. However, in order to be able to use it, you will need to unlock it first!

If you want to slide in this game, you will need to unlock this ability. Fortunately, this can be done at a low level. There is an NPC named Emily Barlow, who can upgrade your character with various perks.
The slide perk is one of the first abilities you can buy from Emily, and we highly recommend that you do so as soon as possible. You will need to complete one of the Murkoff assignments and the perk will be available to you shortly after.
