The Morning Star in Unknown 9: Awakening is a state-of-the-art zeppelin that you gain control of early in the game. As you explore, you encounter a locked door at the back of the ship, which stands out because it’s one of the few interactive doors aboard.

How To Unlock The Locked Door On The Morning Star in Unknown 9: Awakening
To unlock the locked door on the Morning Star in Unknown 9: Awakening, you will need to reach a specific point in the storyline.
click to enlargeThe locked door (located in the showcase room at the back of the airship) remains inaccessible until later in the game. After completing the story objectives at Quinta Matos, you'll return to the Morning Star for a third time.
During this visit, you’ll be tasked with rewiring four antennae on the ship’s exterior. These are surrounded by dangerous lightning strikes, so using the Double Dodge skill from the Combat tree is helpful to quickly evade the hazards while rewiring the antennae.
Once the antennae are reconfigured, you’ll enter the ship from a new entrance at the rear. This allows you to unlock it permanently from the inside, giving you access to the showcase room where various collectibles are hidden, including Extractors and a Tree of Life Scribing.
To retrieve these items, you’ll need to solve a light puzzle in the room. Along with these, there are also collectibles like a Diagram, a Sahin Tile, and an Artifact, all found inside glass cases that are unlocked after solving the puzzle.
The puzzle involves four light switches that must be activated. The correct order is third light, first light, second light, and fourth light. If you had employed your Peek skill earlier, it would have showcased some of these treasures that would give you a glimpse into what awaits behind the door.
