In this guide, we bring to you this Valorant best weapon skins tier list for the month of April. Valorant regularly releases skin bundles to entice players to make in-game purchases. Weapon skins allow them to better flex their combat abilities in style.

Weapon skins are usually bought in the Valorant store, which refreshes daily. Individual skins vary per refresh, while bundles change every one to two weeks. Players can also buy weapon skins during the Night Market season, which is a time wherein some individual weapon skins are discounted for a low price, however, are still randomised like the store.

Valorant best weapon skins tier list (April 2023)

Valorant has released several skin bundles over the past few years since its launch. These cool skins have variations, animations, effects, and even satisfying sound effects, which make the FPS experience more unique and fun. We'll be listing down below some of the best weapon skins seen in the game so far.

Sentinels of Light

The Sentinels of Light skins has a royal look with classy visual effects. When equipping this skin, the muzzle of your gun expands and revolves around the gun's body and returns to its place. Also, take note that the muzzle of the gun is designed like a crystal, which makes this skin bundle's animation cool to look at.

This skin set has a melee and four weapons which are Operator, Vandal, Sheriff, and Ares. There are also four variants of this so you have plenty of customisation options. You can get each individual weapon skin for 2,175 VP while the melee costs 4,350 VP.

Prime

A classic skin bundle commonly seen among players is the Prime skin set. As the first skin bundle introduced, it's become one of the best skins due to its futuristic design, animation, and sound effects. The finisher of the Primeskins displays a bright light and behind your enemy comes a dragon that eats them. For reloading, the animation shows you reloading a cylinder of light into your gun.

Its melee is also the first axe melee seen in-game. The bundle comes in four variants too, and covers the following guns: Vandal, Spectre, Guardian, and Classic. Each skin costs 1,775 VP while the Prime Axe costs 3, 550 VP.

Oni

Inspired by 19th-century Japan, the Oni skins have a glowing aura and design reflective of the iconic creature in Japanese folklore. For its finisher, you'll be amazed by how it takes the last enemy you kill on their knees, and ties them to a chain with the Oni mask placed on them.

The Oni skins come in four variants too, with it being inspired by Japanese aesthetics as well. It's priced at 1,775 per skin, while the Oni Claw melee costs 3,550 VP. For most players, the Phantom Oni skin is most popular in the bundle in comparison to the Guardian, Bucky, and Shorty gun skins.

Prelude to Chaos

Combining advanced technology with a hint of horror fantasy, the Prelude to Chaos skin bundle is one that seems to come from the depths of hell. Its bullet sound effects are heavy and it has some top-tier animation that you'll come to appreciate. The finisher of this skin set is pretty edgy too, as a desecrated ground spawns below the last enemy killed, chains pull at them, and then drag them below the surface.

Each skin of this bundle costs 2,175 VP, while its Blade of Chaos melee costs 4,350 VP. The melee has an animation that makes it seem quite heavy to carry in-game, however it still looks very cool nonetheless.

Spectrum

Another popular skin set is the Spectrum skin bundle, which was a collaboration made with popular DJ and songwriter, Zedd. Also called the "Zedd bundle," these skins are simplistic with various colour lights displayed and animated on them. You'll also notice how each skin produces music upon every kill. In the finisher, the whole map turns into a disco that plays the bundle's music. For the inspecting animation music also plays, which has become quite iconic for Valorant players.

You should know that this bundle comes in four different variants of red, white, purple, and black. You'll be able to purchase each skin for 2,675 VP while its melee costs 5,350 VP.

Reaver

Next is the Reaver skin set. This design is literally sharp looking, with the edges seen on each skin's body, bringing also a horror feel. Despite its edgy design, the Reaver skins play a bell-like noise for every enemy you kill with the skin. Its finisher consists of a circle that spawns skeletons and pulls down under the last enemy you kill, similar to the Prelude to Chaos skins, making it quite eerie and thrilling to see.

Each skin in this bundle amounts up to 1,775 VP, which is surprisingly affordable. Its melee knife costs 3,550 VP. Similar to the Spectrum bundle, the Reaver has four variations in purple, red, black, and white.

BlastX

A unique skin set to Valorant, the BlastX really makes you feel it's time to play with its plastic-like toy gun skins. You'll love how the skins of this set emit Nerf gun-like bullets while equipping the gun wraps it in a random gift wrapper design. For a finisher, the BlastX weapon skin will wrap your enemy in a present as the gift box flies away.

A weapon each in this set costs 2,175 VP, while its rubber knife melee costs 3,350 VP. It's a fun skin set to play with during matches because of its unusual sound effects and animations.

Gaia's Vengeance

For a more nature-like theme, the Gaia's Vengeance skin set gives a hint of a fantastical yet earthy magic aesthetic. Depicted to be like a living plant, each skin is designed to have a tree trunk-like body with branches, and it contains crystal-like highlights that glow with its design and small leaves falling off when the weapon moves. Moreover, this skin set's finisher has a tree sprouting that encapsulates its opponent.

You'll be able to purchase the skins for the Gaia's Vengeance skins for 1,775 each, and the Gaia'as Vengeance axe can be bought for 3,550 VP. Some of the gun skins of this skin set include the Ghost, Marshal, Vandal, and Guardian.

Magepunk

For those fans of the steampunk aesthetic, you'll love the Magepunk skin set in Valorant. It depicts your weapons as electrically-powered, which looks both retro and futuristic. Each shot you make with the Magepunk will depict a flash of light in its bullets. For its finisher, the animation entraps the last enemy you killed in a glass case and electrifies them.

The Magepunk skins come in the weapons of the Ghost, Sheriff, Spectre, Bucky, Marshal, Operator, Guardian and Ares. Its two melees are the Electroblade Knife and the Shock Gauntlet. You can buy individual skins for 1,775 VP, while both melees cost 3,550 VP each.

Glitchpop

Last but not least is the Glitchpop skin set. The skins of this set are brightly coloured and rich in neon-like shades. This skin set is highly animated, has popped-out graphics, and has a sci-fi aesthetic. It can even be said that it's quite inspired by a cyberpunk aesthetic. The Glitchpop's finisher displays an exploding animation that depicts some emojis and text in a futuristic way.

Each skin in the Glitchpop set costs 2,175 VP, while its melee is worth 4,350 VP. It also comes in four variants and covers guns of the Classic, Frenzy, Judge, Bulldog, Phantom, Vandal, Operator, and Odin. Its melees consist of the Glitchpop Knife and Axe.
