As Season 4 of Warzone and Vanguard nears its end, information on what Season 5 of the battle royale and multiplayer have to offer is starting to appear. Widely believed to be the final season of post-launch content for the Pacific era, players are looking forward to the launch of the Season 5 roadmap.
The roadmap is the first piece of intel to appear ahead of a new season, giving players an overview of the new content making its way to both titles. With many believing Season 5 is the last before the launch of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, the upcoming season could go out with a bang.
Before we share intel on the new roadmap, be sure to check out our guide highlighting the best warzone guns to use in the days leading up to the launch of Season 5.
Vanguard and Warzone Season 5 roadmap
The reveal of the roadmap often follows the appearance of the first cinematic trailer for the new season. The trailer arrived on August 18, 2022, so we expect the roadmap to arrive shortly afterwards.
We can expect the roadmap to include details on the new Operators in addition to the new set of weaponry joining the ever-expanding arsenal. Once it launches, we will update the guide with all of the new content.
Vanguard and Warzone Season 5 operators
Like the previous seasons, Season 5 will feature a total of four Operators in Warzone and Vanguard. Here's a full list of characters arriving:
- Menendez
- Al-Asad
- Seraph
- Rorke
Franchise fans will notice that the four Operators are villains from Black Ops and Modern Warfare titles, suggesting there's some kind of evil plan heading to Caldera.
Vanguard and Warzone Season 5 guns
The cinematic trailer for Season 5 shows Menendez wielding the EX1 rifle from Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare so there's a high chance of this particular weapon making its way to multiplayer and the battle royale. Here's the full list of weapons making their way to the arsenal:
- EX1
- RA225
- Valois Revolver
- BP50
- Lienna 57 (In-season)
There's a wide range of weaponry arriving to the game meaning there's plenty of choice.
Will Warzone Season 5 have an in-game event?
Considering the Season 5 trailer sees the helicopter dropping a crate into Peak causing lava to fall from the volcano, there's a high chance of an in-game event taking place to bring the Pacific era to a close.
Expect plenty of teasers as the battle royale prepares to enter a new era with the launch of Warzone 2 later in the year.
That's all the information you need to know about the Vanguard and Warzone Season 5 roadmap. Once it appears, we will update the guide with the first look at the new content. In the meantime, check out the best Warzone guns to use in the final days of Season 4.
