Despite attention turning towards the launch of Warzone's Season 6 update, there are many on the hunt for information surrounding the 2023 Warzone Halloween event.
In previous years, spooky season has allowed the Warzone developers to add some thrilling experiences for players dropping into the action. With 2022 not hosting a Halloween event, many are hoping Season 5 Reloaded leaks uncovering licensed Operators point towards some kind of spooky goings on in Al Mazrah, Ashika Island, and Vondel.

Just before the spooky season gets underway, Activision has shared the first trailer for The Haunting event. Check it out below:

Thanks to official confirmation from Activision, the Warzone Halloween event kicks off on October 17, 2023.
Warzone Halloween event 2023 Operators
Previous Warzone Halloween events have seen the likes of Jigsaw from the Saw franchise and Scream's Ghostface appear as playable characters and there's a chance there are even more characters from the world of TV and movies arriving. Here are the Operators making their way to Warzone:
- Skeletor
- Ash Williams
- Spawn
- Alucard
In addition to the four mentioned above, references to Lilith and Butcher from Diablo have been found within the files of the game. Alongside the Operators, numerous spooky skins have leaked online.
The leaks above have now been confirmed, meaning plenty of new characters on their way!
Warzone Halloween event 2023 map changes
Al Mazrah will turn to darkness during the Warzone Halloween event along with various Diablo-themed additions thanks to the arrival of Lilith and The Butcher.
Vondel also receives a spooky makeover with a new dark setting and scenery that transforms the map into a city overrun by the undead.
Will the Warzone Halloween event have zombies?
Yes! Zombies will feature as part of the Warzone Halloween event. The Zombie Royale LTM is back and sees players battling it out against the undead. If you're bitten, you also transform into a zombie.
