If you enjoy using your bow in a number of scenarios in Tears of the Kingdom, here’s everything you need to know about how to craft elemental arrows in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. The latest game in the series brings back plenty of familiar features from previous releases in addition to new innovations that create exciting gameplay.
The easiest way to get arrows is from merchants, but if you don’t want to spend your hard-earned Rupees, there may be chests or specific locations that can help you obtain the arrows that you need to craft these elemental variants.
How to make elemental arrows in Tears of the Kingdom
There are no elemental arrows to craft in Tears of the Kingdom. But, there are several attributes you can add to standard arrows thanks to various materials and the Fuse ability.
Make sure you get your hands on Fire Fruit and White Chuchu Jelly, otherwise, you won't have the ability to add any additional attributes.
We recommend experimenting with the Fuse mechanic when the game drops, to find out how many types of arrows you can get a hold of without needing to farm or spend your Rupees. You will need basic arrows to combine with other materials, which you can get from defeating enemies across Hyrule.
Most enemies in the game carry arrows, and you can also get regular arrows as a common reward from chests. You should never need to specifically farm arrows, considering how easy they are to get. In the mid-to late-game, you can always just spend your Rupees to buy the arrows from merchants, as you have a steady supply of cash by that point.
The arrows that we had access to in Breath of the Wild include:
- Regular Arrow
- Fire Arrow
- Shock Arrow
- Ice Arrow
- Bomb Arrow
- Ancient Arrow
With the Fuse mechanic adding an unknown amount of arrows, expect your bow to create some interesting gameplay opportunities. An exhaustive list of what’s possible with the new arrows is not available yet, and we have to wait for the official release of the game to find out more.
