How to dodge in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
To dodge in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, all you need to do is press the X button while locked onto an enemy with ZL. This is the same input you'll use to jump, but when locked in combat, Link will jump away in any direction you're holding the left thumbstick. It's as easy as that!
One thing to note is that this swaps to the B button if you choose the in-game option to switch B and X. This may feel more natural to seasoned gamers, as the B button is more commonly used to jump across other games and platforms.
When you've decided which button input to use, you'll very quickly become accustomed to dodging in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Dipping out of harm's way is a good strategy, especially since low-level grunts like Bokoblins tend to very obviously forecast when they're about to attack.
