This NPC shifts locations, so you will have to find Koltin again in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Koltin is a unique character in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, who operates a secret store specialising in monster-themed merchandise. His shop is only accessible to those who can locate him, and he accepts Monster Parts as currency in exchange for his exclusive wares.
After you complete your first quest involving him and his brother Kilton, he relocates to another location. Luckily, he isn’t too hard to find, as long as you follow the game’s guidance. Let’s track him down and get access to his unique monster-themed items!
What to do before finding Koltin in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
First of all, you need to complete the “The Hunt for Bubbul Gems” side quest involving both Kilton and Kotlin. Kotlin wants to turn into a Satori, and believes the Bubbul Gems will allow this. However, once you complete the quest, his plan fails, and he decides to move locations.
After this, you will receive a new Side Quest, “The Search For Koltin”. This quest will require you to travel all the way to Tarry Town, located in the Akala Highlands.
Where to find Koltin in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
You can make your way directly to Koltin, or talk to Kilton in Tarrey Town for some more specific directions. If you talk to Kilton, he will point you toward a location behind him, where you can see the Ultri Mountain Skyview Tower and another object on a hilltop. This other object is Koltin’s permanent new shop location. However, do note that he only appears at night time.
To make your way down to Koltin's shop, you can use your glider and head in the direction that Kilton pointed you towards (over his left shoulder). While the journey to Koltin's shop from Kilton's location is uncomplicated, it's still important to be cautious of potential foes along the way. Once you arrive at Koltin's shop, you can continue trading Bubbul Gems with him for various items, including:
- Moblin Mask (2 Bubbul Gems)
- Hinox Toenails (2 Bubbul Gems)
- Mystic Robe (3 Bubbul Gems)
- 8 Fire Keese Eyes (3 Bubbul Gems)
You can gather Bubbul Gems from Bubbul Frogs, which are usually found in caves.
