If you’re tired of slipping and falling off mid-climb, you need to know how to get the Froggy Armor in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Slip Resistance is a handy new status added to Tears of the Kingdom. You must complete the Lucky Clover Gazette quest line to get the froggy Armor in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. This quest line is separated into 12 sub-quests that you must tackle all across Hyrule. However, the Froggy Armor reward at the end is a handy tool that’s worth adding to your inventory.
How to start the Froggy Armor quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Starting the quest is a fairly simple task. You just have to make your way to the Lucky Clover Gazette’s tent and talk to the editor-in-chief. The tent is located on the north-west side of Hyrule, south of the Hebra Mountains and east of Rito Village.
When you arrive at the Lucky Clover Gazette, speak with Traysi and Penn inside. Traysi, the editor-in-chief, asks you and Penn to investigate potential sightings of Princess Zelda throughout Hyrule. This is where your adventures with Penn will start, and you two will go across Hyrule looking for Princess Zelda.
How to complete the Potential Princess Sightings quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
As we mentioned earlier, the quest will be divided into 12 sub quests. This may seem like a lot; however, it’s made simpler by the fact that all these quests are located at stables. Just make your way to a stable and talk to Penn there to get started with the relevant quest. Here is a list of the stables and their associated quests:
Stable Name | Gazette Quest |
---|---|
Outskirt Stable | The Beckoning Woman |
New Serenne Stable | The Beast and the Princess |
Snowfield Stable | Zelda’s Golden Horse |
Riverside Stable | Gourmets Gone Missing |
Foothill Stable | For Our Princess |
Tabantha Bridge Stable | White Goats Gone Missing |
Serenade to a Great Fairy | Woodland Stable |
The Missing Farm Tools | Wetland Stable |
The All-Clucking Cucco | South Akkala Stable |
Princess Zelda Kidnapped | Dueling Peaks Stable |
The Blocked Well | Gerudo Canyon Stable |
An Eerie Voice | Highland Stable |
Obtaining the Froggy Armor
Since this quest is fairly lengthy and will have you interacting with a couple of other quests, you’ll be interacting with the Fairy Fountain and Towing Bar quests. You can try to rush all the stables or take it slow while keeping pace with the other quests; the choice is yours.
Once you’re done with all 12 quests, you will be rewarded with the Froggy Armor, which gives you immunity to slipping, unless you spam jumps. Besides that, each quest will also give you a generous amount of Rupees if you’re looking to collect Rupees quickly.
That’s all you need to know about getting the Froggy Armor in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom! While you’re here, look into getting the Bokoblin Mask and the Yiga Armor. You should also learn how to shield surf or how to get arrows.
