Keep reading to learn more about it and the confirmed and speculative aspects of Gleeok in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
What is Gleeok?
Gleeoks are generally three-headed dragons with large bodies and long necks that spew fire from each head. Gleeoks are recurring bosses that we have seen throughout the Legend of Zelda series. In previous titles, they have served the role of dungeon bosses, and defeating them would require severing each head.
Gleeok Footage in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
The first footage of a three-headed dragon was seen in the first Tears of the Kingdom trailer, where a large monster with three heads and flames in each maw stood over a large bridge.
Since then, a leaked commercial for Tears of the Kingdom was posted on the r/Zelda subreddit. We already saw a three-headed dragon in the final official trailer for Tears of the Kingdom. Many were theorising that this could potentially be Gleeok; however, we did not have any confirmation. That is no longer the case, as the leaked commercial proves beyond a doubt that the three-headed dragon Gleeok is in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
Gleeok Types in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Furthermore, the three-headed dragon appears to be named a Flame Gleeok. This could be alluding to the fact that various types of Gleeoks exist throughout the altered scenery of Hyrule. They could function similarly to dragons in Skyrim, located in high areas and blocking key points of interest.
We theorise that there will be at least two more Gleeok variants for the Lightning and Ice elements in the game. In fact, we might see super versions of these Gleeoks that can utilise all three elements with each head! Regardless, there is good reason to be excited about the addition of these fearsome dragons called Gleeok in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
