The Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Kiuyoyou Shrine will take you by surprise if you haven't learned all of the game's mechanics yet. It's one of the many new shrines across Hyrule, all of which task you with solving environmental puzzles in exchange for a Light of Blessing.
In this guide, we'll walk you through the Kiuyoyou shrine from start to finish, so you know exactly how to breeze through it and earn your rewards.
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Kiuyoyou Shrine solution
The Kiuyoyou shrine is all about messing around with the elements. As soon as you walk in, you will find a frozen block to your left and a wall of fire to your right. Use Ultrahand to pick up the block and put it under the fire. This will cause it to shrink. Do this until it's small enough to fit on the platform to the left of the gate in front of you. Then drop it on the platform, opening the gate up.
You can then use your glider to get to the next location. To do this, simply run towards the gust of wind in this next area, and hit B or X, depending on your setup, to propel forwards.
Once you're past the windy obstacle, you'll encounter an ice block dropping down and entirely disappearing when hit with fire. To stop this from happening, you have to grab the stone plate near your landing, and place it in front of the fire. Use Ultrahand to fuse the stone plate on top of the ice block, and put it on the spikes. Give it a push and it will go over to the next area. This plate will stop the block from being broken by the wall of fire in the starting area. You can then fly over.
Before you head to the starting area, detached your new combination and angle the stone slab on the right-hand wall prior to the main door, making an arch up to a cavern in the wall. There you'll find a chest contain a Zonaite Spear.
Finally, reattach your new invention with the stone slab on the top, and use Ultrahand to carry it back down to the starting room. Then, just place the block with the stone plate onto the panel under the wall of fire to finish this shrine.
After completing the Kiuyoyou Shrine, you'll get another Light of Blessing, putting you one step closer to adding another heart to your HP bar!
