Wondering how to earn and use Pony Points in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom? We've got you covered. Even with Zonai carts and rickety wagons, horses are excellent ways to travel across Hyrule as fast as possible and in Tears of the Kingdom. And there are plenty of items you'll get for going the extra mile

There are numerous stables to visit. Every time you choose to use the facilities, you can get your hands on points. As always, collecting points means generous rewards. In fact, one of them is a key item you'll need to unlock an important upgrade feature.

How to earn Pony Points

  • Visit a new inn
  • Stay the night
  • Register horses

The process of earning Pony Points in Tears of the Kingdom is incredibly straightforward. Once you arrive at a stable, spend the night there and register any new horses you feel like rangling from the field. You'll get the card by speaking to the inn keeper from the Stable side of the counter.

Each new stable you visit gives you one Pony Point for free, so exploration will naturally garner you a few of the rewards without you spending rupees or sneaking up on wild animals.

How to spend Pony Points

Spending Pony Points is just as easy as earning them. Make your way to the side of the stable counter inside an inn. Interact with the book to redeem any rewards you've earned.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Pony Points rewards

Rather than spend pony points, you gain rewards as you earn more. They're cumulative milestones. So, you've saved up your Pony Points and you're now ready to spend them but what rewards are available? Here's a closer look:

  • 3 Points - Towing Harness
  • 5 Points - Horse-god fabric
  • 7 Points - Malanya bed

We'll update the Pony Points rewards list with any new rewards we uncover them. For now, three points gain access to the Towing Harness, while earning five Pony Points gives you some Horse-god fabric you can use to craft something special.

How to check Pony Points

I can't check exactly how many Pony Points you currently have, but you can see how many you need for another reward either by interacting with the Pony Point Ledger at an inn or using the Pony Points Card from your Key Items bag.
